What happens in five minutes

1. Listen

   A native voice says a real sentence.

   Slow it down to 0.75×, speed it up to 2×, or repeat it as often as you need.

2. Type

   Every word is a slot the length of the word.

   Your ears learn the sound while your fingers learn the spelling. On a phone, you build the sentence from tiles.

3. Fix

   Your mistakes are marked letter by letter.

   Extra letters are struck out and missing ones appear in green. You correct them yourself, which is what makes them stick.

4. Understand

   Every word explains itself.

What is free?

Do I need a keyboard?

No. On a phone, early lessons use word tiles, and typing has an accent row for Spanish.
